West

Switchover date 2010

The digital TV switchover for the West TV region completed on
07 April 2010

This means that from 07 May 2010, eligible people are no longer able to apply for our help in this region.

People with digital TV equipment supplied through the Switchover Help Scheme can continue to get help and advice from our aftercare line for up to a year after they receive their equipment.

If you were eligible for help in the West TV region but get your television signal from a different TV region, such as Central or Meridian, and you have not yet had our help, we may contact you again with information about the Help Scheme before the other region switches.

You can get further advice about digital TV at digitaluk.co.uk

Please note: The West TV region includes the Cheltenham and Gloucester area, served by the Ridge Hill transmitter, which will switch between April and June 2011. If you get the ITV Central News programme, you are watching TV from this transmitter and if you are eligible for help, we will write to you nearer this switchover date.
